the Off Beat dad

Tooo many men suffer from (even the black ones) being off beat when it comes to their kids. They are not dead beats that don't remember their kids birthdays , haven't seen them in months, don't pay child support and got Maury on speed dial. I am specifically talking about the men that show up to the birthday parties,graduations ,know their kids birthday,already taken the D.N.A test lol,and even give them a dollar when they see them or better yet take them to the store(ballin). However they come around, play with the kids a few minutes show up for special occasions that the mom did allllllllllllllllll the work for and paid for it too. So what you showed up to sing happy birthday ,you didn't buy the cake or even bring a gift yet you got your chest poked out when you see how good their mom made them look. what in the hell are you guy's problem? Your still not a father you just assisted in the making. If you have never taken your son to the park to play basketball with him or turned a rope for your daughter to jump, been up all night when they had a cold your still not a father your a step up from dead and notice I said A step. if the mothers are doing everything for the kids that you walking around with picture in your wallet and have no idea if they are allergic to peanuts your just as sorry as the dead beats. Paying child support Doesn't make you a father nor does visiting them once in a blue. Benjamin's don't change no pampers ,Franklin,Jefferson don't cook or clean and never once took my kids to schoool. Where do men get off calling themselves father's when your kids have closer relationships with the neighbor than you,atleast they see them everyday and might even walk to school with them while your at work or still sleep laying up with some chick and taking better care of her kids than your own.Shame Shame Shame . Don't be mad when your kids grow up and don't appreciate all the sneaker you bought them. Love doesn't cost a thing.
