The Greatest Son Ever

For soooooooooo very very long there was nothing more I wanted than a Little dog. I talked about it ,did research about different small breeds and then went to the pet store and omgness these little dogs cost about 1 months rent. we all know what happened next.......... I left the pet shop with a lion head rabbit we later named Thumper (may he rest in peace). Disappointed in some way that I couldn't walk, dress up, or train my new pet yet happy I had something to keep me company while the kids were at school. A month later I saw one of the saddest commercials ever( to this day I turn from it because it brings me to tears) for the A.S.P.C.A. and I wanted to adopt a pet. I couldn't afford it at this time because I was giving my son a birthday party in school. Robert Jr. had a great birthday and I was happy about that and he got alot of money for his birthday so he was happy too. A week later as I was sitting on my couch I saw the commercial again and me and my son teared up(we are both animal lovers) and he looked at me and said Mommy we should go there and save a little dog like the one you wanted and I can keep Thumper. I told him I spent all my money on Thumper and his birthday and he went in his room. the next morning he woke me up and said were going to get a dog today I got all my birthday money! He got his father's pay stub , the mail, and his envelope and sat on the stoop till I was ready, we got on the train and went to the A.S.P.C.A. My son said to me on the train I want to get you a dog to make you happy because everyone makes you cry. I replied it's okay that's life but I am happy because I have a 9 year old son that didn't think of candy, pokemon cards or a new toy,he thought of a way to make me happy and I am truly Blessed to have a son like you.
